I don’t know that the noise canceling features work terribly well – you can tell that its on – but its not too perceptible. However, its a very compact unit, the sound in loud places is clear (e.g., trains and planes), and its comfortable. Unlike big over the ear units this fits nicely in the ear and I can turn my head to the side or sleep on my side with it on. Concert sound, maybe not, but a good alternative in loud places or where your bluetooth stereo can’t be used.

USELESS USELESS USELESS BUT NICE CASE – M. Moran –
I will never understtand the claims made by some sellers or makers of products that simply do not work as described.
I bought thses to ease the background noise on the bus I take to work. I lost my sony headphones and was a a little low on cash. Well I got what I paid for, a nice case but a useless product that made the sound worse on my unit thaN any other earphones I used. No noise reduction just some kind of sound diminuation in general.

Elaborate and useless but as I said a NICE CASE.

Active noise cancellation has been around nearly as long as helicopters (as that is a primary use).
With that in mind, I certainly expected more.
If you would like to listen to music with cancellation, these might be for you (or you could use your existing headphones and simply turn up the volume).
If you are hoping for quiet, you will not find it with these.
Although they do provide some noise reduction for some sounds, you will be far better served with a cheap set of earplugs.

cheap refurbished laptops Canon Mf4150

I’ve had 5 or more different brands of earbuds. Nothing comes close to these Sonics for me in terms of both sound quality and durability. The fabric-wrapped main cord is very nice and won’t tangle. Please see my review of the Lenntek Pro earbuds–even for a much higher price, the sound is not as good. I haven’t tried the really expensive tier of earbuds, like the Shures or the Etymotics, but in the “cheap” tier, these are the best. They have a “presence” that makes you feel like you are in the band or the performance, not watching it from outside. If you can get the Costco coupon deal, they are only , but some of the Amazon resellers are very inexpensive as well—30. They are very comfortable with 3 or 5 different sized ear canal adapters for diffent size ears, and they never fall out. There is a new model of the Sonics this year, and some of the sound specs aren’t quite as good, but the sound is the same for me. The older model from last year (has a straight-in main plug vice the 45 deg angle plug on the new models) is just flawless. I can’t find anything in the same price class that even comes close. Highly recommended.

First of all, these are not really suitable for running because they are designed to block noise.
The sound quality is not audiophile class, but it’s good and the cloth-clad cords prevent tangling.

After about 9 months of use, one side stopped working. To my surprise, the company not only replied to my email asking about the warranty coverage, they sent me a new pair after I sent mine to them for inspection. Best customer service I have had in years.

I paid about for them and would definitely replace them at that price when the warranty expires, but I would also consider buying them at .

These are decent, but nothing more. I was strictly looking for something to use while running and wasn’t impressed with nether the sound quality nor the fit those headphones had to offer. They need constant adjustment and believe me, while running this is the last thing you want to be doing! Compared to my new Sennheiser sport series headphones I recently purchased, the Lenntek’s are lacking far, far behind.

If your ears are sensitive and you are constantly looking for something better to use while running, I would strongly recommend the Sennheiser MX75 Twist-To-Fit In-Ear Stereo Sport Headphones.

they were great while they worked properly
the problem came with a normal bending of the base of the headphones because the plastic began to tear and the inner wiring was exposed which meant that i could only listen to my music if i bent the cord to make the wires touch each other so… do with that as you will

Plantronics Voyager Pro cheap refurbished laptops

I’m a big fan of over-the-ear, clip-on style earphones so I’ve tried quite a few different pairs in that style and these are my favorites.

The sound is great – very clean, very clear.
The ear clip is by far the best I’ve tried of this style. I wear them while walking and for my purposes, they stay on well without excessive shifting and with no pinching.
The housings for the earphones are very sleek. The brushed metal is very attractive, and it does not look or feel cheap like other plastic styles. They feel very solid, but not heavy.

What I want to warn others about is the padding. I’m a little hard on my earphones. Sometimes I just throw them in my pocket or bag without any thought to what may already be in there. It’s not a problem with my cheaper earphones where the foam padding is tough and thick but it’s a bad idea with these. The padding is a bit more delicate and doesn’t hold up to being whipped around inside a bag with objects rubbing against them. I’ve had mine snag and tear. If you don’t use the case, just be mindful of how you carry them around.

Razer Protone – Casey Brown –
Ok,So I decided to get these for two main reasons
1. I’m a fan of razer, they’ve never let me down before
2. I’m a sucker for the brushed metal design in general

but, the record still hold that razer will never let me down
and these are great headphones for the price, i mean they have great sound quality, i’m real picky because I’ve never used (and never will) any form of low quality garbage that i find in stores. these sound good and aren’t too uncomfortable.

I don’t review a lot, but I just want people to know that if you are tired of earbuds and clip-on headphones always tanging, these things are the way to go! Great sound, the cord doesn’t tangle, durable… the only problem is the padding is a bit thin so they can get uncomfortable after a while.

In regard to these headphones, I’ve had three sets now, the first two being destroyed by cats. I would have given this a five, but I was expecting black ones and got white ones. The picture shows white, but the description says black. I figured I’d roll the dice and see what happened. The ones I got were white, but I didn’t send them back.

As far as the product itself, it gets a 5 star rating. There are no better headphones for MP3 players as far as I’m concerned. The quality of decibel level these little headphones can handle is amazing. I’m a metalhead that likes to go around listening to tunes whenever I’m not at work. LOL I think you get the picture that loudness is what I need most. I should consider buying these in a lot. )
